De repente, desabafei mais um pouco com jodiê:
-Acho que estou começando a compreender que só existe uma pessoa que eu não posso decepcionar.
Ela me olhou parecendo ansiosa pela resposta e fez sinal para que eu falasse.
Torci o lábio, como se estivesse receio de ser reprovado, disse rapidamente:

Jodie, ao contrário de mim, alegrou-se com a resposta, o que me animou a continuar.
-Já estaá mais na hora de mudar isso; de me superar e criar coisas notáveis para minha vida toda.
-Você se refere à pintura, Vitor?
-A o pinião alhei me move, e pinto seguindo as tendências do momento, eu reconheço. E agora percebo que gostaria de satisfazer às pessoas, mas acabo por não agradar ninguém. Nem sequer a mim mesmo.
-Talvez vocè deva fazer as coisas para os outros, e não pelos outros.(...)
